Very sad to announce that TA 14 owner Dr Philip Wright has passed away.

Philip only acquired his Mulliners Saloon restoration project recently and a new owner is now sought for the car that is residing in Maldon, Essex.

Chassis 23009, Registration FDM 544, Coachbuilder Mulliners, Body No. M1256. She left the Alvis factory as a rolling chassis on the 7th March 1949.

The car is a genuine restoration project and was previously offered for sale at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 1995.

At the time it was stated that the late owner had owned the car for some years.

‘It’s restoration was said to be well advanced and to a standard one would expect from an aircraft engineer.

It is understood that the engine runs smoothly, the battery holds its charge and the car is driveable..

The car comes with papers.

The car was sold again at Auction by Bonhams in 2019.
