1949 ADVERTS IN ‘THE MOTOR’ (With acknowledgement)
An advertising page from ‘The Motor’, dated April 20th 1949, showing a Mulliner Saloon. Who would not have wanted to rush out and buy one, pull down the trilby and pretend they were Harry Lime or an early James Bond. This relates to the copy brochure posted below.
TICKFORD ADVERT
Much of the 14 advertising for the Mulliners uses the word ‘Individuality’ as the strong message, not so Tickford. This marketing brochure has no such frivolity. What is interesting is that I was told that the nave plate colour should match the interior. It is obvious that for the Tickford it should match the body colour.
